You've gotta start 'em early...

These are all things that London is learning.
Learning how to stand.

Learning to impersonate Daddy's face when he pretends to listen to Mommy talk, but is actually thinking about something TOTALLY different. Practicing his "naked man" for when he attends West Point in a few years.
Learning to be a Yankees Fan.
Learning how to enjoy a nice cold beer (for the record, it was empty).
Learning how to read a good book.

Happy Father's Day!!!

As we all learned from the anniversary flowers fiasco, while Mike is deployed he is running about a day ahead of us. So I figured I would put this up now.

We love you baby! You are an amazing Dad, and it has only been 4 months. London is one lucky little guy to have you as his father. I can't wait to see what the next 50 Father's Day bring us (oh and I do mean when London is old enough to start buying his own gifts for you hahaha). We miss you! MMMmmmmmMMMmmMMMmMMmMmMMMmMMMmMMMmMMM!! We love you!

Hummm....whats new?

Alot has changed for us in the last few weeks. London has gone from being a baby to, well, a little bit larger baby. :) Over the last 10 days London has learned to laugh. He chuckled a few times before now, but he has really learned to LAUGH. He thinks its funny when you bounce him, and when you play "oops, I almost dropped you" (you know, the game where you pretend you are droping ). He just giggles and giggles. I love that little boy! He has really developed a personality of his own recently. He has also become even more attached to me (as if that was possible). He CRIES when anyone else hold him these days. It's even worse than it used to be. A few months ago when he only wanted me, it was because I was the only one who knew how to soothe him. If I taught you how to bounce just right and sway just the way he liked it, he would have liked you too. However these days it is different.

Example: I was holding London and walked up to the full length mirror in our room the other day. I tired to get him to look at "the baby" in the mirror. Although he looked at only my reflection and started screaming. I quickly turned him around, and as he looked me in the face he immediately stopped crying and even smiled at me a little. Well a few seconds later I again turned him around to look at "the baby" in the mirror. He again, focused on only my refection and started screaming. It was at this point that I realized that when he saw my reflection in he mirror he must have thought "well if your over there Mama, who the heck is holding me??" I tested this theory several times, and every time I showed him the mirror he would cry. However if I turned my head and did not look in the mirror he would not cry. I think it is safe for me to assume that I am NOT so ugly that I make my own child cry HAHA!

Everytime I ask one of his adoring fans (aka: my friends or family) to hold him, he SCREAMS. I must admit while it kind of annoys me that he won't let ANYONE ELSE hold him, it is rather flattering :).

I will leave you now with a few pictures of THE BOY.

Watching Dad

Before Mike left he recorded himself reading a few books for London. I know London is only 3 months old, but he gets VERY excited when I put them on for him. It is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. Here is a little video of him watching his Daddy. :)

Congrats CPT Daddy!!

Its official the hubs got promoted to captain today. :) London was so proud of his Daddy he thought we needed to take a picture.

Yeah I know the rank is not QUITE right but we didn't have any Cpt rank laying around the house so we made due with what we had, you get the point. :)
