*Cricket* *Cricket*

Yes people, it actually can be that boring.

Everyone keeps asking "how are you feeling?" and I give the same answer every time, "fine." It's not that I don't appreciate everyones concern, because I really do. It's just that I have nothing new to update.  It's basically just a whole lot of my butt keeping the couch warm the past few days.

Hummm, what can I update about today?

Oh I forgot to mention that my Dr decided to put me on Lovenox (a blood thinner) this cycle. I didn't find this out until the day of my transfer. My Dr wasn't there anymore for me to ask questions by the time they told me, but I'm assuming it's because of our recurrent miscarriages. So, I take one shot every day until I get a negative pregnancy test or my OB tells me to stop several weeks into my pregnancy.

I had some pretty fierce cramps after ET, but about 24 hours later they were gone. This morning I woke up extremely sore. It felt like I had done a crazy ab workout, which I can ASSURE you I did not. I'm not sure if it's just a new pain in the healing process after my retrieval or what, but it really hurts.

With that said, I'm going to take a tylenol and head to bed.

Sorry you're in pain- I hope it is all worth it in the end! Feel better soon!

Urgh - if Lovenox is anything like the Clexane that I'm on (another blood thinner) prepare for some crazy bruising! It's horrible - My whole lower belly (and there's a fair bit to my lower belly) is varying shades of purples, greens, yellows and black. Of course, totally worth it, but ugly.

Hope your 2ww flies by and that BFP comes along before you know it!

I hear ya! I cannot believe how much more I'm feeling the egg retrieval this time around. Oh, and then there are the wonderful progesterone shots in my back side every morning which feel like they are leaving serious bruises back there. But it will all be worth it in the end. :) I'm praying we both get our BFP's next week. (I test on 3/4 but anticipate cheating and taking a HPT before then)

I also had to do lovenox during my pregancy as well as while we were trying still.

I wanted to drop you a few tips because I know that lovenox is NO FUN.

-Ice where you are going to do the injection. I bought those little gel ice packs. They are just cold enough to do the trick.
-Don't pinch the area you are gonna do the shot.
-I suggest if you are on a one shot a day do it before bed when you will be laying down after. I tried doing it in the mornings and I would have really bad bleeds because I was not sitting after the shot. (get next care bandaids they work best i found)
-Try them in your thighs too, this was actually an easier less bruising place for me to do my shots but I know everyone is different.

I know you have done a million injections having to go through IVF but I also know that lovenox burns and to do the shots for a year straight like I did you think it gets better but I hated every single one of those damn things.

Best of luck!!

Stopping by for ICLW and am wishing you success this cycle. I read your history and it sounds like you have been on a long journey. I hope this round work for you!

Other than the bruising (and it doesn't always bruise), lovenox isn't that bad. I had to be on it my entire pregnancy but my little boy was so worth it.

Hope you get some fabulous news soon.
